Children and Family Ministries
St. John’s is richly blessed by the many families who have made our parish their own. Our Family Ministry provides a healthy Christian environment through dynamic events and practical tools necessary to help families express and model Christian life in their homes and their communities. While it is true that families are the first and best venue for teaching children how to walk a Christian path, all families can use some extra help, resources, and encouragement when it comes to developing young disciples!
To do this, St. John’s crafted the “ChurcHome” approach to Family Ministry. In this approach one’s family life and church life are not independent. They are interdependent and intertwined, and the “ChurcHome” approach seeks to build and promote the connection between faith and family.
We invite you to explore the information about some of our specific offerings for children and families.
