Taizé at St. John’s is a 45-minute period of meditation and prayer, using the simple contemplative, chant-like music of the Taizé community in France. Readings, together with periods of silence, encourage people to pray in their own ways in an atmosphere of calm and acceptance. Taizé is a quiet evening held in the candle-lit Nave on March 7th beginning at 7pm. You are invited to begin this Lenten Season by experiencing this peaceful period of music, readings, reflective meditation, and prayer to soothe the soul.
