    The Vestry will be presenting a proposal at the Annual Parish Meeting to amend the Bylaws of St. John’s in the following areas:

    1. Expansion of the Vestry election process, allowing for absentee ballots;
    2. Inclusion of electronic means for conducting Vestry business;
    3. Tightening the expected timeframe for presentation and approval of the annual budget;
    4. Moving the date to elect Diocesan Convention delegates to match the change in the convention meeting dates.

    These amendments have been developed by a subcommittee of the Vestry (Kathy Petrie, Chip Carter, and Cathy Harrison).  All proposed amendments are consistent with the Diocesan Canons.

    The current bylaws with the proposed amendments as well as an overview of the amendments may be viewed by clicking on Proposed Amendments.

    The Parish will vote on the proposed amendments at the Parish meeting on January 22, 2017.
